We talk about buildings the way designers do.

Talk is a conversation series pairing emerging architects and designers — anyone with a love for design and the built world — with the people shaping Toronto's built environment. Up close, unscripted, with no stage between them.

01 — Talk

No stage. No podium. Just the work, up close.

A talk series built to close the distance between who's studying design and who's practicing it.

Most architecture talks put a practitioner behind a podium and an audience in the dark. We've found that the best conversations about buildings happen the way buildings actually get made — standing close, pointing at a drawing, interrupting each other.

Talk pairs one emerging voice — a student, a young designer, anyone with a genuine love for the built world — with one established practitioner shaping Toronto's architecture today, in a room small enough that everyone is part of the conversation. No slides are required. No one is introduced as a keynote.

Where Studios, job sites, and kitchen tables — never an auditorium.
Who One emerging architect or designer, one established practice, one facilitator.
Format Conversation first, questions welcome anytime. It ends when it ends.
